Improv Acting Class

Explore the creative arts in the area of theater in this six-week Improv Acting Class on Wednesday nights starting September 4! In this class, led by Jamey Durham, MFA, who teaches acting and film courses at Columbia State and screenwriting at MTSU, we will study improv acting techniques and develop our acting skills through playing theater games such as those found on the show “Whose Line Is It Anyway”. We will learn techniques used by Saturday Night Live and comedy greats such as Dan Ackroyd and Bill Murray.. We will also discuss our faith as artists and will seek to encourage one another as we laugh, play and grow. The class is for adults only.

Need childcare? Children ages 6 months - 5th grade are welcome to join one of our Grace Kids Clubs! Register here.
