  • The primary function of the Community Administrative Assistant is to oversee and execute all administration for the Community Department by:

    • Organizing and executing all Community Department trainings and events including Business Matters lunches, New Member Classes, Community Groups, Hola Grace Center, and other departmental activities

    • Managing departmental expenses and any other responsibilities with which the Community Pastors may require assistance 

    • Managing department supplies and resources

    • Coordinating department communications and volunteer schedules

    • Attending the operations meetings, department meetings, and monthly all-staff meetings

    • Prayerfully supporting the Community Department to implement Grace Center's mission, vision, core values and primary expressions 

    REQUIREMENTS

    HOURS + RATE

    This is a full-time, exempt position, which means that while you are required to complete up to 32 hours each week, there may be times when your responsibilities will exceed those hours and you will not be eligible for additional hours.

    OVERSIGHT

    The Community Pastors will be your direct supervisors.

  • The primary function of the Missions Administrative Assistant is to oversee and execute all administration for the Missions Department by:
    • Attending weekly department meetings, operations team meetings, and monthly all-staff meetings.

    Assisting the Missions Pastor and department by:
    • Coordinating communications, emails, and phone calls.
    • Organizing events such as mission committee meetings, interest meetings, and Missions Connect. 
    • Coordinating logistics for Grace Center mission trips.
    • Processing financial requests such as funding applications, check requests, expense reports, and keeping track of financial records.

    • Passion for organization, developing systems, and an ability to think at high levels as well as practical levels.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    This position reports to:
    The Missions Pastor will be your direct Supervisor.

    Hours

    This is a part-time, non-exempt position, which means that while you are required to complete 10 - 15 hours each week, there may be times when your responsibilities will exceed those hours and you will be eligible for additional hours.

  • The Children’s Pastor role exists to care for and encourage the growth and development of this generation in the presence and the Word of God. This person plays a critical role in connecting this generation with the greater church family, modeling relationship with both Jesus and one another.

    Grace Center is seeking individual(s) who desire to...

    • Create an environment for children from infancy to 5th grade to receive biblical teaching and experience the presence of God.

    • Provide support to parents in raising godly children.

    • Keep up to date with state and federal requirements for children’s welfare.

    • Recruit and oversee all volunteers, providing leadership, training, appreciation and connection.

    • Provide curriculum for each teaching environment.

    • Work closely with Middle School and Youth Pastors to assist children in each transition of life.

    • Carry out pastoral staff responsibilities, including but not limited to:
      - Providing pastoral care for youth, their families, volunteers, and department staff
      - Emcee Sunday morning services

    • Participate in Grace Center staff meetings and gatherings, such as:
      - Weekly staff prayer
      - Bi-weekly pastors' meeting
      - Monthly all-staff meeting - Conference weekends, events, etc.

    • Demonstrate the Grace Center values to love, honor, and serve God and people.

    Hours

    This is a full-time exempt position, which means that while you are required to complete 30 hours each week, there may be times when your responsibilities will exceed those hours and you will not be eligible for overtime.
